After a long busy day, a tired and relaxed pup awaits you. We offer the best programs for your dog’s stay with us. Their physical and mental well-being will be our top priority. They will enjoy hours of play, make new friends, attain more advanced social skills, and come home to you with their needs met. We offer convenient doggie daycare for the Main Line and Western Suburbs in PA, as well as five locations in New Hampshire and Massachusetts near main traffic corridors.
From water play to running in the yard, or our various enrichment activities that are dog trainer approved, your dog will have a blast enjoying new experiences each day in our doggie day care program.
Dogs are creatures of habit and by attending daycare on a regular basis, you will be helping to create a happy, healthy, active and most importantly, a well-socialized pet.
Dogs are separated into doggie daycare groups based on personality, activity level and size. While participating in daycare, dogs are encouraged to exhibit appropriate play styles. Monitored by our staff, we will help them to learn or strengthen good manners when playing with dogs, or interacting with humans.
Upon request, daycare dogs can enjoy a mid-day break consisting of calming music, comfy raised beds, low lighting, and for some dogs, staff cuddle time.
Playtime Pet Resort Provides transporation to and from our PA facilities for both daycare and boarding. Daycare transportation is $20 and includes both pick-up and drop-off. Pick-ups start as early as 7:00am and drop-offs as late as 7:30pm. Boarding is by appointment only and is $35 each way.
We run this service 7 days a week! We have two vehicles. The first is a Black BMW X5 with two options for transport. For dogs 35 lbs or less, you can choose either a rear facing crash proof dog seat or a Ruff Land enclosure. The second vehicle is a Ford Transit van outfitted with crash proof Ruff Land enclosures.
Our service area includes, but is not limited to:
Most dogs can begin daycare once they are fully vaccinated and developmentally ready for group play. Puppies are typically eligible after completing their core puppy vaccinations and demonstrating appropriate social behavior during their evaluation.
Spay and neuter requirements can vary by age, breed, and individual temperament. These policies are reviewed during the daycare temperament evaluation to ensure a safe and positive group environment for all dogs.
To prepare your dog for daycare, start by making sure they are up to date on all required vaccinations and flea prevention. Gradually expose your dog to social settings, such as walks in busy areas or supervised play with other dogs, to help them feel comfortable around new dogs and people. Practice basic commands like sit, stay, and come, as this helps staff manage group play safely. On the day of daycare, bring any required paperwork, label personal items clearly, and keep drop-off calm and positive so your dog associates daycare with a stress-free experience.
Yes. Dogs new to daycare or group play are evaluated carefully to ensure they are comfortable and appropriate for social interaction. The temperament evaluation helps determine the best pace and environment for first-time daycare guests.
If a dog becomes overstimulated or needs rest, staff can provide downtime away from active play. Breaks help ensure dogs remain comfortable, relaxed, and happy throughout their daycare experience.
Dogs with special needs or medications may still be eligible for daycare, depending on their condition. It’s important to discuss any medical requirements with staff in advance so proper accommodations can be made.
